We are looking for an IA/AP to add to our family here at Alaskan Bushwheel Inc.
JOB TITLE:
AP/IA Technician
POSITION SUMMARY:
Alaskan Bushwheel Inc, an industry leader in light aircraft landing systems, has openings for Aircraft Mechanics. These positions will report to the Production Manager.
Alaskan Bushwheel Inc. strives to expand each employee’s knowledge and skills. As the employee gains productivity they will be cross trained so that they are proficient in all systems and aspects of the product line.
REQUIREMENTS:
• General Aviation experience required
• Possess a well rounded maintenance background in piston powered aircraft
• Airframe and power plant license as well as Inspection Authorization mandatory.
• Experienced in using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment
• Must have own tools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Candidates will be responsible for performing scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, rebuilding and repair of Tailwheels
• Assembly and testing of NEW Tail wheel assemblies
• Perform major and minor modifications under supervised direction
• All work must be of aircraft quality
• Other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES:
• Must be organized, able to prioritize and able to stay on task
• Must possess a high degree of self-discipline and ability to complete duties
• Must strive for ways to improve personal productivity and shop systems as company grows
• Ability to adapt to short notice demands/changing requirements
• Is consistently at work and on time
• Contributes to a positive team spirit and treats people with respect
• Asks for and offers help when needed
• Generates suggestions for improving work
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
