Easy way to uninstall / install the cowling

Cowl removal

Open all comlocks
remove the 4 front and rear screws of the lower cowl
close all camlocks and cowldoor
unscrew the screws of the desired cowl
open the camlocks but leave the two front ones closed
when you stand in front of the spinner you may now open the front camlocks and can still hold on to the lower cowl.


Cowl installation

Install Top cowl with doors first
Use only the screws on the side / end of the cowlchannel
Do not tighten these screws
Put lower cowl in place
Secure the lower cowl with the cowldoors by closing the camlocks
install now all the screws, but do not tighten them

Open Cowldoors and install top screws with Timmerman washers ( seen Modification Thread )

Tighten countersunck screws & close doors
Tighten all other screws.
This way the camlocks have a perfect fit.
