It is a really small world. I grew up on a farm in Dell City, TX, which is about thirteen miles from the Salt Flat VOR. During my childhood we had a BT-13, a Cessna 170, and a Stearman Crop Duster, so over the years I spent a lot of time looking down at the Salt Flats.
