Floats to wheels

Question:

Those that have converted from floats to wheels, or wheels to floats- how much 'adjustment' or 'force' was needed to align float attachment strut bolts to the fuselage attach lugs?

When lifting the husky on main spar lift rings, how did the husky balance? Nose down, level or tail down?

Don’t know about the float specific question but I hoist my Husky by the rings pretty regularly. Mains come off ground first and after they rise about 6” the tail lifts too. Relatively well balanced. Just make sure you either place the tail on a padded sawhorse or tie a rope to the tail to keep the plane from spinning on the hoist cable.
Don’t forget to use a spreader bar on the end of your hoist.

This time laps of putting Anfibs on shows the balance
the tail is almost level with mains on and has about 20 lbs with mains off.
With the PKs the only time consuming thing was filing the pork chop blocks to fit the fuselage blocks, but they are made large to be filed for a tight fit.
