Folding Table, Light weight

This is the type I had and lost (or loaned out). I like the design but I am trying to find or build one that is no more than 6 lbs.

The table in the photos is from Walmart. They don't have them all the time, so you will have to just keep checking until they have them in sometime. Similar ones are available at Sportsmans Warehouse and other sporting goods stores, but they are always larger than this one. I have only found this small one at Walmart. When folded up it will lie flat on the floor of the baggage area in the Husky or you can stand it up against the back wall or whatever. I would have to go weigh it to be exact, but it is only around 2 to 3 pounds. I bought two of them the last time the local Walmart had them in.

Jerry told me about this one a few months back and I bought one. It is very good but the table top is definitely for one person only.

Thomas and I were discussing this over last fall and he had a great idea to modify the rear (behind the seat) storage floor so that it could be removed and used as a table top. Dual function always saves the weight of the additional component.

The quest is for a table for two that is under 7 lbs.

FYI.... the 14.5# Coleman pack-away table I mentioned above includes the two chairs! I haven't weighed the table by itself but it might be close to 7#'s. When folded with the chairs stowed inside it sits flat on the floor of the baggage compartment too. You can find it for sale on Walmart.com and they will send it to the store closest to you.
