Fuel sight tubes

To go along with the discussion on Husky-L, here's a suggestion TomD made a while ago. I cut this into a strip and put it behind the sight tubes. It makes it easier to see the fuel level. I think I laminated it to make it last.

Thanks Don,

the idea behind the spripes is, that the stripes will be seen horizontally if there is no fuel in the gauges, and under 45° if ther is fuel in the gauges. That is because of the light gets deviated in the fuel filled tubes. Very easys to determine fuel level.

I opened that attachment and my eyes rebooted and immediately went into self test mode . . . all I saw were these thick black and white bands. Will be going to the eye doctor tomorrow.

Bumper,

I hope the eye doc let you keep the medical. Print this thing out and get the angle of the fuelsight tubes , which is about 45°. Make now a stripe that had that angle with the black and white going through it horizontally.

Place that stripe behindthe fuelsight tubes.

Go now to the psYciatrist.....at least at our fuelprices....
