Yes, I’d do the same if I could get my mechanic to sign off on an Odyssey, but he’s reluctant without an STC - so I now have an EarthX that I’ll get installed next annual.

Looks like quarter sawn white oak!
I installed the earthx. I’ll try and get some pictures today. Battery has a metal top mount in the kit so really no modifications needed for the mounting of the battery
The battery has to be vented in case of a meltdown so one inspection hole needs to be drilled for the vent tube to come out the bottom of the airplane. Biggest pain was running one wire to the panel for an indicator light. Glad I did it during annual because all belly panels had to come off to run it with the existing wiring.
After 10 flying hours very happy with the battery. It cranks exactly like the Concorde. The 15 pound savings is worth every penny!!
