Hi Guys, I wanted to switch over to 1 1/2” axles for skis. F. Attlee Dodge sell a kit for SuperCubs to do this. The only problem is the Piper Axles have a step on them. The kit needs to be mod.‘Ed to stop a wobble. It has an insert to fill the space for the outboard end Of the piper axle. What you need is a length of 1 3/8” x .058 4130 tube to fill the kit. They have th small pice welded but I think filling the rest of the tube simply epoxy it in place. If you need a spacer you can cut it of the tube.
