Travel map

So where can I get the little travel map and add to my profile, showing the states I flown into in my Husky? How do I get it to post each time I post a message? I must be a Luddite or something, but using vBulletin is not exactly intuitive for me...email was no problem. If I send an email to the Husky List, does it post to FlyHusky?

So many questions, so little time...

Go to the following site and then follow the directions: http://www.epgsoft.com/

Then download to your desktop.

Then on the FlyHusky site go to UserCP and click on "edit signature" and go from there.

My signature state is from the same site, but since I have only flown my Husky here in Alaska, I just "cropped" out the rest of the lower-48 states.

Chris,
Glad to see you made it, always enjoy your posts.

I will try to simplify this and I am sure Scott or someone will correct or add
if I have missed anything.
In your personal profile you will see an area called "signature", in forum language it is a way to sign each post with what ever information you would like, you may have seen it on the Husky L List on some of the emails that came through. Some people put thier favorite quotes or your favorite one liner.
It seems here someone started a cool trend from another site http://www.epgsoft.com/
You can visit that site away from FlyHusky and make your own map up.
Once you have completed the map, you can save the map to your computer as an image. The when you visit the FlyHusky site you would go to your UserCP link and click on edit signature and place that image from your computer in your signature area.

Everytime you post, your signature will automatically post your map.

What I do is try the preview post button before the submit post button and it will show you if it is working properly.

Feel free to post a test if you like, others have and no one will throw rocks.

Scottt has put a lot of time and effort in so if there is anything you dont understand, please ask. We all want this site to work and look forward to helping anyone that wants to learn..

Good luck and we will look forward to seeing your states.

* I am not sure if your signature shows up in the preview so someone might need to jump in and help if I am incorrect on this. Take your time and enjoy as you learn.
