Given the affinity most Europeans seem to have for fine wine (and flying to nice destinations that have such wine) do most folks stay the night or just “drink responsibly” and ignore the “8hr bottle to throttle” concept?

Often we spent the nights out. But in France and Italy wine is part of a meal and not meant to be drinking.

I like the photos of your husky. The wheel fairings look great, never seen a tailwheel fairing like that before.
What is that exhaust fairing made from. Must be flexible to be that tight to the pipe!

The exhaust fairing is made from figerglass with heatr trsistant resin, Inside covered with aluminum tape. It bolts right on the lower cowl.

Doesn't resemble the $100 burger runs that me and the REDNK Idaho guys go for..

I remember flying back from Bishop Ca a few years ago. I was actually flying backwards it was an experience. to remember Had two guys hold the plane wings on take off with the brakes on turned into the wind. Took off in 5 feet ! good thing it was less wind when I came home. Would not have tried that in my F1
