Amsafe seatbelts

Thoughts on the seatbelts?

Just bought my Husky and the charges have never been changed. My mechanic has been getting the runaround from Amsafe and Duncan for over a month.

1. Should I bother
2. Are they worth it (I read one study that makes think I should be indifferent)
3. Anyone have better contacts at Duncan or Amsafe

Most guys head to Schroth for replacement belts.

I bought Amsafe Seatbelt parts from these folks . I installed the Amsafe four point harness in my experimental Bearhawk Patrol. I bought a harness off ebay, and I got parts missing from these folks to complete my harness. Its a phone call and a real person. As far as webbing, are you rebuilding it? I bet they re-web. A quick search on line shows numerous results. I fabricated my own pattern by getting the two inch seat belt webbing and just built what I needed to fit. I used a household office stapler to temporarily hold it in place then sent it out. Work with your mechanic, keep him happy. I'm experimental so my view is not from the ceriticted view point
