While performing an annual/pre-buy on the A1-B I’m wanting to buy they noticed small
dents on the trailing edge of the wing forward of the aileron cable
attachment brackets. They are fairly superficial and looking at them from in the wing there are no cracks. I tried to attach a picture but I keep getting a picture too large error.
The owner said he left the airplane out in a wind storm once without control locks & that how the dents occurred.
My IA isn’t worried about them & fixing the dent would require taking the fabric off the wing.
Im trying to decide if I should negotiate a lower price or let it go. The airplane has less than 600tt.
