Anyone use FF for W&B? If so do you have a shareable template including the interactive graph for the A1B.?
Company airplanes all use FF for everything including W&B. Works pretty slick.
Ive actually got an A1 but with TD's ski STC Im good for 1980#. Close enough to 2000#.

I do for my A1C. Any ideas how I share my template? Is this the graph you're referencing?

If I stay within the weight limits of the baggage area, with one reasonable passenger, it seems impossible to be out of CG or over weight. Granted my gross is higher than yours. IMG_5D836A36B711-1.jpeg

Harry, you go to setup and enter the data from your POH. I’ll list the information I entered in a bit.

Thanks Morty. How are these W&B templates generated? Me, not being particularly adept at these things.
Yea it’s pretty easy! Goto W&B in foreflight and plug in the values from your paper W&B.

Seems there is some variation on the limits between models. Here’s how mine is set up in FF. Early new wing A-1B, 2000 gross with aft baggage.

Here is how I have mine. I created three separate arms for the aft baggage(forward, middle, and back). This one was made for a 2006 A1-B with the standard 2,000 pound gross. Please verify your stations as I can’t guarantee they will be the same. Feel free to PM me if you want any help setting it up. Works great once it’s all done.

Here’s what I did. I have some items in a net vertically on the front wall of the tail compartment. My arms for the other sections of the tail compartment are average locations based on the areas forward and aft of the tubing that divides that compartment.

Damn. Our 03 B, while on 29’s, is 70+ pounds heavier than some of you guys. Ouch…
Not to derail the thread but we aren’t comparing apples to apples. 80HY is vacuum IFR panel but 800s and a composite prop! I’ll have to switch to electric AI/HSI just to afford Goodyear 26” by weight.

Dual G5’s so no vacuum. MT ultra would get us I think 20 back from the 76” Hartzell. 32 pounds if we went back to the 8.50’s. Are all you guys running the stock battery? Odyssey battery is another 7 I think over the standard one. So we would be closer I guess.

What I really need to do is get the lump in the seat aka me to back away from the pizza… :D
