G500 cooling fan failure

Hello all - I have a 2015 A1C with the G500 panel (not a txi), and just received an error message that the fan1 has failed. Anyone else dealt with this? I understand it is a pretty simple replacement - has that been the experience of those who have been through this?

I have a G1000 in a skywagon. I installed it in 2012. I have had one fan failure several years ago. That was a simple fix. I have also had an entire screen fail on me last year, and I had to replace the entire unit. I used the exchange program and swapped it out for a refurbished unit.
