Loose Throttle

On my Husky, the throttle will not stay in position. During run-up, I have to hold it to maintain 1900 rpm and then use my other hand to do the mag check. In cruise flight it will slowly wander back.

What's the best method to tighten the throttle?

Svott,

it is a deteriorated corck washer between the trottle and the airframe.

Chris Mc Clure has a bunch of replacement washers that do not deteriorate.
You need to open the LH sidepanels and hang them curled up to the tankcoverscrews.

Once opened , change the forward and the rar one. I am sure Chris will mail you two washers.
Adjust the friction with the bearingbolt to the value you want.
