Brad and Belloypilot.
Do you want custom colors on your floats, or painted silver. Mine would be painted silver.
Brad, where would you want to get your floats/delivery?
Patrick is working on 3 float price. They are really busy. List is $65,000.
Advise on painting so he can have that detail.

I’d go with either white or silver. If there’s no difference in price or schedule I have a slight preference for white.

Silver is the color floats are supposed to be, goes with every color airplane. Easier to re sell and it just looks right!

Got a 3 set group price from PK, $64,000 each, so only $1000 of list.
Not enough to convince me to order. They can deliver in spring.
Think if anyone wants a set a group buy is not hardly worth the effort?
Silver or white same price.

Yeah, not enough of an advantage for me to commit right now either. I guess it’s good they are busy - just not the time to go looking for special deals.

I have a question from something earlier in the thread. Someone with an A1-B said:

so you are down -274# on useful load, but you pick up 250# in gross weight increase with the PK STC

Is that gw increase just for the A1-B, or does it apply to all models? From my research online, I believe gw went up from A1-B to A1-C, and then again at some mid-production (serial #3000) in A1-C to 2250. If so, I'm wondering how a 180 hp Husky performs on water takeoffs at 2500#?
