Strong winds made the ride interesting, the Husky performed awesome. Headwinds approaching the Jura ditch west of Zürich, one picshows approaching Gemmi Pass at 8000, which gave me a 2000ft/ min lift to 10.000ft
Last one Lake Thun, where all the Tuna comes from. Away from the Alps the air got laminar again and the ride home resulted in a 155 KTS GS in the Husky and 220 KTS in the Extra. Trsanfleuron Glaier almost melted and Beautiful Vallis ( Rhone valley with Raron airstrip, shortly before turning left to Gemmi pass.)
