Hey folks,

Question from a non-Husky owner (but who wants one)...

What useful loads are you getting on floats? Please say model Husky you have, what model floats you have, and whether you have other mods that significantly affect weight.

A1C-180. 527.1 lb on Wipaire 2100 amphibs. When I was looking the 2250 GW made the difference between supercubs, scouts, etc.

I am very happy I bought this exact model and would highly recommend it.

I’m interested in this info as well. I have a Christen Husky A-1 and would really like to put amphibs on it but am wondering about the useful load or any mods that can help…

In our A-1A on Wip 2100 amphibs we have an empty weight of 1,573 lbs and MTOW of 2,079 lbs for a useful load of 506 lbs. On floats the huskys the best useful load and they have a CG envelope that actually lets you utilize all of that payload.
