It would be great to see some other Huskies at Lone Pine this year. It is on the same weekend as the High Sierra Fly-in every year. For info on the High Sierra fly-in, search the forms here for good comments on it (for and against). I've been to HSF most years since 2014 (before HSF was at Dead Cow) and I have chosen to go to Lone Pine 3 of the last 4 years. Lone Pine has a real mix of planes and pilots and great local organizers. They will put together multiple fly-out groups organized by pilot and plane proficiency for you to choose from. Each fly-out group will have a local pilot guide. There are many great interesting places to land, from open smooth lake beds to narrow dirt roads.
