Watching the last of the ice go out on Gull yesterday evening. Nice to get back in the air. I think Debbie enjoyed it too!

ah, there be bugs... Res Cub vs Husky performance on floats, I don't know that I can give a true apples to apples comparison. I have time on straight float and amphib equipped Cubs, but only amphibs with the Husky. That said, I would take a Cub on 'phibs or straights into places I wouldn't take a Husky. My guess is that a Husky on straight floats would get out of those same places comfortably, but an amphib wouldn't. That's just a guess. Here's an example of a small lake I am comfortable getting a Cub in and out of, but not an amphib equipped Husky:

Wind came up last night and storms were moving in, so headed for the barn.
