Are there any details of this anywhere? (position, dimensions, method of fixing, etc?)

There are whole lengthy threads on it!!

Basically you want about 1.5 inches tall on the left and 1 inch on the right. I made mine out of thin aluminum flashing and attached with double stick tape as it was an experiment. It worked nicely, so the temporary flashing stayed.

BTW, I used a punch to make holes in flashing to make room for rivet heads on existing inlet baffle.

I keep seeing the heated seat cushions. I cannot find them any where? Also i had a A&P look my plane over and he kept talking bout the spades but i was under the impression that the spades were for 04 A's & B's and older?

Right, the '05 and later dogs are spadeless.

These sure work nicely in my FJ Cruiser and S2000 and I recommend it hightly :p

The seat control is simple and effective, high-off-low, but that is fine in practice. Turn it on high to get it warm, takes seconds to start feeling the heat. Once up to temperature, I turn it down to low. This controller works using two relays to switch the carbon pads to parallel (12 volts each pad) for high, then in series (i.e. 6 volts each) for low.

Hey Tom
I used bumpers link to purchase a Bosch master rely for the husky and the rv4. I got it and on the case it says 12v 75 amp. Is that 75 continuous? I am wondering if the rely will handle that big initial starter load? All mods are working well on the husky. Thx

Just buy one at NAPA and install it with a breaker or fuse...or, to stay legal, order it from Aviat and have your mechanic do it (that's the route I took, but I'm drifting to "the dark side" since.

The stuff sold for boats tends to be better built than those sold for cars.
